Eckhard has extensive experience in all facets of industrial relations from handling of day-to-day matters on the shop floor to labour legislation and employment conditions. He consults on employment and legal matters, compiles policy and training manuals, and provides training in industrial relations, conflict resolution, labour negotiations and performance management. He has consulted to the retail, manufacturing, banking and the advertising industries, and has had over 20 years of in senior positions in two major national chains – Pick ‘n Pay and Ellerines.

He holds a Masters Degree in Social Sciences from London University and is fluent in Afrikaans, English and German.
