Nigel has a Bachelor of Social Science Honours degree, a post graduate diploma in labour law (UCT) and over 20 years’ experience in business management and people development. Nigel joined Gateways in 1996 after 8 years as a Human Resources Director. His core focus is the development and facilitation of training programmes.

Nigel is a Thiagi Certified Facilitator (*).

The South African Board for People Practices (SABPP) has assigned professional registration status to Nigel as a Chartered HR Practitioner (Registration # 4619). Nigel is a member of the SABPP Western Cape Committee.

Nigel is known for his ability to facilitate successful training and development events through his ability to connect with the participants and communicate serious information in a clear and, where appropriate, humorous fashion.
